The Centre for Social Research and Prevention is a project initiated by the Consortium of Russian organizations with a vast and successful experience of collaboration on public health issues, i.e.: Regional Non-governmental Organization for Social Projects in the Sphere of Public Welfare "Stellit", the Psychology Department of St.Petersburg State University, and the Northwest District Centre for Prevention and Relief of AIDS.
The Centre’s chief goal is to search for and accumulate proven data and information on strategies, methods and results of social behavioral research and prevention efforts in the area of solving urgent social problems.
